This week, we had the honour of welcoming Rt Revd Dr Guli Francis-Dehqani, the Bishop of Chelmsford, to Margaretting Primary School as she came to see our Lord’s Prayer display. The display showcased the Lord’s Prayer in 15 different languages, representing the diverse nationalities within our school community. The children proudly presented their work to Bishop Guli, explaining how they had explored each translation and what it meant to them. They spoke about the importance of inclusivity and how the display highlights that prayer is shared and understood by people all over the world. We are incredibly grateful to Bishop Guli for taking the time to visit and engage so meaningfully with our children. It was a truly special day, celebrating both faith and the rich diversity within our school.
