Our EYFS and Year 1/2 classes had a fantastic time this week when they were visited by Essex Fire and Rescue Services. The children loved learning what a firefighter does and trying on the uniform. We had a great time!

Just over a year ago, we announced that Mrs Taylor had won the Pearson Silver National Teacher of the Year Award. This week she was finally able to attend her celebratory dinner. She had a great time celebrating her achievement in London.
The Year 5/6 class enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Cressing Temple Barns as part of their learning on the Anglo Saxons. They tried archery as well as weaving and being a part of an Anglo Saxon court!
The Year 5/6 children are really enjoying their learning about the Anglo Saxons and Vikings. This week they made prototypes of Viking Longships. We can’t wait to plan and design our own models soon!
