About Us

Everything you need to know about Margaretting Primary School.

VISION STATEMENT
Our main aim will always be to provide the best education we can, in the most effective way possible, ensuring that the Christian ethos and the values that we stand for are incorporated into all we do. By doing this we will enable children to become enthusiastic, confident, happy individuals who aim to and achieve their full potential and take with them, into the wider community, a positive attitude and a desire to become life long learners. We celebrate British values by promoting freedom of speech and celebrating our culture.

SCHOOL ORGANISATION
There are 4 classes in the school:
Reception
Year 1/2
Year 3/4
Year 5/6

Each child is taught at his/her own level of ability within the boundaries of the National Curriculum. Children needing learning support are taught both in the classroom situation and on a withdrawn basis. Support assistants are employed specifically to support children with special educational needs in the school. We also employ a SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) who works two mornings a week.
