English National Opera Composition
Some of our Year 5/6 pupils participated in a music project set by ENO (English National Opera) where we were set the task of finishing a composition called Blue, Red, Yellow… We had to choose a fourth colour to compose to. We chose the colour black. The children worked collaboratively as a team to understand how to make sounds relating to our colour and used pitched and unpitched instruments for our final composition.
Out of 200 entries, we came in the top 45, which meant our composition received an animation alongside the music (which was one of the top prizes). We got a congratulatory video message from Omar (the leader of this project) and each received a certificate of participation!
You can listen to our composition here (We are under the East of England playlist).

Well done to our Year 5/6 pupils!
